Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has a new haircut!

He kicked off the 2025 NFL training camp by debuting a bold new buzz cut hairstyle on Sunday, July 27.

The official Chiefs Instagram account shared the image with fans. The reveal was captioned, “Fresh cut Trav.”

After spending the summer with longer hair, Kelce surprised fans by reverting to the clean, streamlined look he sported earlier in his career.

Kelce’s New Look Sparked Reactions Online

The new look had fans taking to social media to weigh in on the new look.

Some fans mourned the end of his signature flow, with humorously nostalgic comments. 

“Oh no I loved 90’s boy band Travis,” one user wrote.

Another added, “[M]ourning the long hair but this is HOT ASF TOO GUYSSS.”

Others embraced the change and loved the look. “WE KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS. NFL DEFENSES START WORRYING,” one user wrote.

The haircut isn’t surprising as Kelce’s is known to change his appearance.

The tight end famously sported a mustache in 2024 as a nod to Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

He called it the “Andy Reid special” while appearing on his podcast “New Heights” with his brother Jason Kelce.

Kelce also loves fashion as he told The Wall Street Journal in October 2023. At the time, he said his looks are often last minute.

“It really just goes down to the wire,” he told the outlet. “I kind of enjoy the creative process of the panic to just throw something together.”

He added, “Obviously, not every look is for everybody. I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it.”

Kelce Went Offical With Swift on His Instagram

Kelce gave fans an intimate look at his two‑year romance with Taylor Swift in a long‑anticipated Instagram “hard launch” on July 24, featuring a 13‑photo post from his off‑season adventures.

The NFL tight end’s post included snapshots of the couple in matching outfits, snowy outings in Montana, ice skating and dinner dates.

Fans went wild with the rare look into their sweet relationship.

The photos revealed their coordinated couple style, including matching nautical hats labeled “captain” and “first mate,” and the two even had each other as their phone lock screen images, a detail noticed by eagle‑eyed fans.
