A tornado watch is in place for Colorado’s northern Interstate 25 corridor and Eastern Plains until late Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Severe weather is possible in Weld, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick and Washington counties, including scattered apple-sized hail and winds up to 70 mph, forecasters said in a severe weather alert.
The tornado watch is active until 10 p.m.
