Jenny McCarthy ‘Completely Devastated’ Over the Loss of Her Beloved Friend

Donnie Wahlberg shared a loving tribute on Instagram on Saturday, August 2, after the death of one of his superfans, whom he referred to as “Kelly.” In his caption, he celebrated her life and reflected on all the beautiful moments they had shared. He was also honest about how much pain he is in, writing, “it’s going to hurt for a long time.”

The New Kids on the Block musician is not the only person who has felt her loss. Wahlberg’s wife, Jenny McCarthy, also made a heartfelt tribute to Kelly.

It all seems so surreal,” McCarthy wrote in the caption. “I finally got to meet the wonderful ‘Minnesota girl’ that Donnie kept raving to me about. Only to find that you were even more wonderful than he described.”

She continued, “I am completely devastated, knowing that I will not get to know you more. I truly felt like I met a friend when I met you. Donnie and I will miss you so much, and we will look in on your beautiful Keira. Rest peacefully, my beautiful friend.”

McCarthy’s comment about Kelly being a “Minnesota girl” is echoed by Wahlberg’s statement. In his thoughtful and lengthy tribute, he informs fans of how much Kelly will be missed but never forgotten. “I know that I will see that smile and that gorgeous red hair again.
