Maura Higgins and Danny Jones could be set for an awkward reunion following their drunken kiss earlier this year.
McFly star Danny, 39, was pictured in a drunken clinch with presenter and model Maura, 34, at a Brit Awards afterparty in March.
As the photos went viral, Danny, who has been married to wife Georgina Horsley since 2014, was left with some tough questions to answer.
In the wake of the incident, he released an Instagram statement apologising to his wife and family.
Since then, I’m A Celebrity winner Danny has kept a low profile, skipping out on this May’s Baftas ceremony, where Maura was in full attendance.

But with both set to attend next month’s National Television Awards ceremony, it looks as though they’re on course for an awkward reunion.
With I’m A Celebrity in the running for Best Entertainment at this year’s NTAs, 2024 winner Danny would be expected to join Ant and Dec on stage if they win.
This means that he runs the risk of running into Maura, who also appeared on last year’s show.
A source told The Sun: ‘She is the queen of a red carpet moment and adores getting glammed up.’
The tabloid’s insider continued: ‘There will have to be some clever choreography to ensure they don’t end up next to each other when walking the red carpet but they could both end up on stage if I’m A Celebrity wins.
‘Maura won’t be answering any questions about the kiss. She’s put the incident behind her and feels she has nothing to be ashamed of.’
They added: ‘Danny has also been moving on, but they knew that their paths were bound to cross at some point.’
Danny and former Miss England Georgina were married in 2014, dating for five years before tying the knot.
They share one child together, in son Cooper, who was born in 2008.
On her part, former Love Island contestant Maura had recently split from TOWIE star Pete Wicks when the fateful kiss happened, with their relationship reportedly coming to an end on Valentine’s Day that year.
Following the kiss, Danny released a statement via Instagram Story, writing: ‘Hello everyone, sorry I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
‘I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.
‘I love them so much, and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.’
He finished off by saying: ‘I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support.’
It was reported that the couple were in ‘crisis talks’ following the kiss, with Georgia even temporarily moving out of the family home.
‘This saga has been embarrassing, and Danny had a lot of explaining to do,’ a source told The Sun.
According to the insider, the couple is ‘keen to just move past it and get on with their lives’.
‘They’ve been away for a few days, and they are focused on being a family unit,’ they said, while emphasising that the couple remain ‘both committed to each other.’
