LANCASTER — Two men and a woman were shot to death Sunday in a vacant lot in Lancaster.
The shooting was reported about 4:50 p.m. at 215th Street East and East Palmdale Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. Their names were not released.
Information about suspects and motive was not immediately available, sheriff’s officials said.
News video from the scene showed a white sedan with bullet holes in the driver’s side window and a red SUV in front of a white trailer. All the vehicles were in a vacant lot strewn with tires near what appeared to be a storage lot for commercial trailers.
Homicide detectives were conducting a crime scene investigation and asked that anyone with information call them at 323-890-5500 or leave an anonymous tip on the Crime Stoppers line at 800-222-8477.
