Tommy Fury has revealed his ‘lowest ever moment’ that saw him hit ‘rock bottom’ after Molly-Mae Hague and Bambi left him last year.

The 26-year-old professional boxer and TV personality is no stranger to having his life in the public eye.

After meeting Molly on Love Island in 2019, welcoming their first child, Bambi, in January 2023, the couple announced their engagement months later.

However, the Pretty Little Thing ambassador and fighter shocked the public by announcing their split in August last year, with Tommy later saying his issues with alcohol had prompted their breakup.

Since then, Molly has spoken out about their ‘unique living arrangements’ as they ‘figure out things’ in their relationship. She also recently became tearful as she discussed her parenting struggles in a recent vlog.

However, in a new series for the BBC, titled Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, the Fury brother is baring all as he delves into the ‘worst year of his life’.

Offering fans unprecedented access into Tommy’s life, the brother of Tyson Fury attempts to restore his reputation and win back the trust of Molly-Mae by returning to the ring.

Speaking to Metro and other publications, Tommy delved into how he was at one point drinking 20 shots a day when he struggled with alcoholism.

‘I was told that I had to have an operation on my hand and I couldn’t use it for 12 to 18 months,’ he said.

‘So, at the point when you can’t even shower yourself properly because of my cast, one day you find that all you can do is sit down and have a few drinks, and it takes the pain away. You kind of forget where you are, you forget what’s going on.

‘And sometimes you want that feeling all the time, and that’s where it obviously starts.’

He continued: ‘Drinking four or five times a week is something nobody should be doing. When I look at the person I was back then, I don’t even recognise that guy.

31.7.25......Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are about to start doing something with their summer. The Love Island couple and their daughter Bambi arrive at Manchester Airport on Thursday morning and head to the Jet 2 check-in desk before airport staff spirited them away.

‘Back then, I didn’t really care about anything. I let the world go by and wasn’t bothered, and that’s just not me. I’ve always kept myself in tip-top condition. I’m an athlete, I’m a fighter, I want to strive for the best, I want to be the best, that’s my mindset. And then I just lost it down that stretch.’

Asked about Molly-Mae walking out on him with Bambi, he added: ‘I probably would have walked away from me too.’

Discussing the speculation around his and Molly-Mae’s break-up, he described it as ‘horrible’.

‘How could it not be? Just constantly every day lies and just pure s*** that you’re reading in every single newspaper, magazine possible.

‘It’s not a nice feeling, but it comes to a point where that’s not even important. What’s important is getting back to who I am.’
