A food blogger couple were mid-bite recording a review when a car smashed through the restaurant and showered them with glass shards.
Influencers Nina Unrated and Patrick Blackwood were filming with a table full of food at CuVee’s Culinary Creations in Houston, Texas, when an SUV rammed into the establishment.
They had just done a cheers tap with their salmon sliders and were a few chews in and reacting ‘mmm’ with satisfaction, when glass went flying in front of them.
The footage, including a slow motion version, was shared on Instagram by Nina on Monday and showed the couple blown off their seats to the left, with their faces overcome with shock.

Nina fell off the booth, and Patrick followed shortly after with glass pieces all over his lap.
Four employees at the restaurant at the back near the bar and kitchen watched with their jaws dropped.
The influencers said they were ‘just sitting in a cozy booth at our favorite restaurant, enjoying happy hour with an amazing spread of salmon sliders, presidential oysters, a macaroni and cheese flight (classic, lobster, and truffle), shrimp and grits, and some refreshing drinks’, and that the SUV crashed through at 35 to 40mph.
‘No warning at all, glass shattered everywhere, chaos erupted, and it hit right next to Patrick on the outside of the booth,’ said Nina, who has 230,000 Instagram followers.

‘We were inches from disaster, but by some miracle, we’re both okay, just shaken and forever changed.’
In separate social media posts, each of them revealed their injuries. Nina had cuts and bruises on her face and body and was recovering at a hospital.
Patrick, who has more than 40,000 Instagram followers, had wounds on his face and head and stitches on cuts on his body.

‘Grateful to see another day, walking away from the small stuff with a big purpose,’ he said.
The restaurant owner told TMZ that the SUV driver was unscathed and that she will be held accountable for the damages to the business. Authorities told the media outlet that the driver was not impaired and that it was a freak accident.
Nina posted that she was ‘beyond grateful to be alive’.

‘This experience showed me who truly matters; life’s too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you,’ she wrote.
‘This could’ve been our last meal.’
It happened more than seven months after a Porsche SUV crashed into a barber shop in West Houston that was full of customers and hit a 10-year-old boy. The terrifying moment was captured on a Ring camera and showed debris flying and people running in all directions. The boy was rushed to a hospital and had surgery for internal bleeding.
