Everton will play their first official game in their brand new stadium today when they take on Brighton in the Premier League.
Fans got their first taste of the Hill Dickinson Stadium back in February, when the club’s new home hosted its first test event at Bramley-Moore Dock.
A number of further test events have happened since, but today’s clash against the Seagulls is the first time that supporters will get to experience competitive football in their new surroundings.

After an initial estimate of £500m, the actual cost of Everton’s new home is £802m.
This makes it the second most-expensive stadium of all time in the Premier League, behind Tottenham’s new venue, which cost over £1 billion to build.
Why is it called the Hill Dickinson Stadium?
The stadium name comes as a result of a ‘long-term agreement’ with the Liverpool-based law firm, Hill Dickinson.
The club have described the deal with the law company as ‘one of the largest stadium naming rights deals in Europe.’
What is the capacity of Everton’s new stadium?
The capacity is the seventh-biggest in the Premier League at 52,888.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, Tottenham and Manchester United have larger grounds, but it is a big step up from Goodison Park’s 39,572.
Where is Everton’s new stadium?
Everton’s new home is on the waterfront at Bramley-Moore Dock, a couple of miles away from Goodison Park.
Bramley-Moore Dock is a former commercial dock first opened in 1848 on the River Mersey.
What has happened to Goodison Park?
The famous old ground was going to be demolished when the club left, with the site to be redeveloped.
However, the club had a change of heart, with the Everton Women’s team to use the iconic venue for their home games moving forwards.
