<p id=”par-1_20″>A strange claim from a woman closely associated with Jeffrey Epstein<strong> </strong>has just linked <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/princess-diana/?swcfpc=1″>Princess Diana</a> to the late convicted pedophile.</p>
<p id=”par-2_38″>Disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for assisting Epstein in recruiting young girls to sexually abuse, made the claim about Epstein and the late royal during her interview with the US Department of Justice.</p>

<p id=”par-5_32″><a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/36415003/princess-diana-set-up-jeffrey-epstein-ghislaine-maxwell/”>The Sun</a> noted that in the audio recordings and a 380-page transcript released on Aug. 22, Maxwell talked about an event in London put together by Diana’s close friend Baroness Rosa Monckton.</p>
<p id=”par-6_37″>“I don’t know if [Princess Diana] was being set up as a date for him, maybe because she was,” Maxwell said. “I don’t want to speak bad of Diana but … I’m not going to do that.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_32″>Maxwell added: “I don’t know if he sat with Diana or he met with Diana and he’d already met her. I don’t know, but this (event), I believe, was organized by Rosa.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_13″>She then revealed there might be photographs around somewhere from that evening. </p>
<p id=”par-9_75″>Maxwell also brought up Prince Andrew and insisted that she didn’t introduce him to Epstein. She also name-dropped other well-known figures, including Naomi Campbell, Richard Branson, and Elon Musk, who she says had a friendship with Epstein. She mentioned President Donald Trump as well, calling him a “gentleman” every time she was around him. However, lawyers for Epstein’s victims have accused Maxwell of doing that in hopes of getting a pardon from the president. </p>

<p id=”par-10_75″>Maxwell’s name was tied to Princess Diana’s shortly after her arrest in 2020 when a report surfaced that she disliked the princess and made her cry. The claim came from one of Epstein’s alleged victims Maria Farmer, who along with her sister Annie Farmer, reported abuse at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell to the FBI back in 1996. Maria said Maxwell was showing her photos of different royals and pointed out one of Diana.</p>
<p id=”par-11_47″>“Ghislaine’s like, ‘Look, there we made [Diana] cry, isn’t that funny? We hated Diana.’ That’s what she said,” Maria told <a href=”https://www.the-sun.com/news/763949/ghislaine-maxwell-teased-princess-diana-cry/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Sun</a>. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, that’s horrible.’ They were very mean to her, like abusive, but they thought it was really funny. Very, very sick.”</p>
