Stowe’s Sweet Outing

According to photos published by The Daily Mail, the 67-year-old star, who has acted alongside Hollywood legends such as Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, and Daniel Day-Lewis, was seen with her 29-year-old daughter, May, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother.

Stowe, who has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, was seen casually enjoying the sunny day in LA.

A Legendary Career in Film & TV

Stowe’s breakout role came in the 1987 action comedy “Stakeout,” where she starred opposite Richard Dreyfuss.

She soon became a household name, thanks to her portrayal of Cora Munro in “The Last of the Mohicans,” opposite Daniel Day-Lewis.

The actress later portrayed Dr. Kathryn Railly in “12 Monkeys,” a 1995 film with co-stars Willis and Pitt. Her career flourished throughout the ’90s, with standout performances in “The General’s Daughter” alongside John Travolta. See an old video of Stowe published by People 13 years ago.

While Stowe’s film career slowed in the 2000s, she found new success on television, playing the icy Victoria Grayson in the hit ABC drama “Revenge” (2011-2015). For her role, she received a Golden Globe nomination in 2012 for Best Actress in a Drama Series.

Life Away From the Spotlight

Stowe, who married actor Brian Benben in 1982, is a private person. The couple has one daughter, May, who accompanied her mother during the recent outing. Stowe and Benben met on the set of NBC’s “The Gangster Chronicles,” and they have kept their relationship out of the public eye for years.

After stepping back from acting for several years, Stowe made her return to the screen in the 2023 HBO series “It: Welcome to Derry,” a prequel to the films “It” (2017) and “It Chapter Two” (2019). She will appear alongside Bill Skarsgard, who reprises his role as the terrifying Pennywise the Clown.

A New Chapter in Stowe’s Career

Stowe’s return to acting has excited fans who remember her best for her unforgettable roles in the ’90s. While her last major film role was in the 2003 thriller “Octane,” Stowe’s new role in “It: Welcome to Derry” marks a fresh chapter in her career.
