Sandra Bullock Spotted Partying with Co-Star in Fun-Filled Outing

Everyone deserves a break, and for actors, the best ones often come with music, laughter & good company. Joey King and Sandra Bullock took a magical pause from filming “Practical Magic 2” to enjoy a Coldplay concert.

King, 26, shared a playful Instagram photo of herself and Bullock, 61, laughing and dancing at the show on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Coldplay Concert Turns Into “Practical Magic” Reunion

King captioned the sweet snap with emojis: “🪄 💞 mamacita.” According to a report in People, King will play Bullock’s daughter in the sequel to the beloved 1998 film.

According to fan videos shared on X, King and Bullock attended the Aug. 31 Coldplay show in London with Nicole Kidman. Kidman, who returns as Gillian Owens in the sequel, first starred alongside Bullock in the original 1998 film.

People had confirmed in June 2024 that Bullock and Kidman were in talks to reprise their roles for the new movie. Bullock’s comeback is exciting for her fans, as she stepped away from acting in 2022 to focus on her family. Two years later, she and Kidman confirmed that “Practical Magic 2” was officially in the works.

In July, it was announced that Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest will return as Aunt Franny and Aunt Jet. King was also confirmed as part of the cast, joining Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod.

“Twenty-five years ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet, and Aunt Franny flew off the pages of Alice Hoffman’s beloved novel and into theaters around the world, and we are thrilled to bring the Owens family back,” the filmmakers said in a statement, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Nicole Kidman Praises Joey King & the Cast

Kidman opened up about the sequel in August, sharing that she and Bullock have been living close to each other in London during filming.

“We have beautiful Joey King, who I’ve worked with before and who’s just lovely,” Kidman told People magazine. “So it’s a group of amazing, amazing women and some great men who are creating the next phase, the next stage of the witches’ life.”

Kidman and King also recently starred together as mother and daughter in the 2024 Netflix film “A Family Affair.”

On July 18, Kidman posted a behind-the-scenes video with Bullock on Instagram, sharing a sweet hug in front of a headstone at a cemetery. “The witches are back,” Kidman captioned the post. “Owens sisters’ first day on set!”

With such a talented cast on board, fans are excited to watch the sequel to one of the most loved films.
