Contestants for the twenty-third series include “Gladiators” star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, aka Nitro, “Eastenders” actress, Balvinder Sopal, former Netherlands soccer star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and model and actress Ellie Goldstein. The latter will become “Strictly Come Dancing’s” first Down’s syndrome contestant, as the show continues to break down barriers and misconceptions associated with disabilities.
