Davante Adams added to his extensive list of career achievements in the Los Angeles Rams’ 33-19 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2, and he offered an encouraging message in the immediate aftermath.
Adams finished the day with six receptions for 106 yards and 1 touchdown.
He officially surpassed 12,000 career receiving yards with the outing, in addition to scoring his first touchdown with the Rams.

Adams had four receptions for 51 yards in the Rams’ regular-season opener, also a win, against the Houston Texans. The Rams shared a graphic on Instagram celebrating Adams’ career yards mark. That is when the wideout responded with his fitting message.
“I think …we aint done yet,” Adams captioned the shared post on his IG story
There is a long way to go in this season still, but Adams’ message is especially encouraging for the Rams, since he signed a two-year, $44 million contract with them in the offseason.
They appear to have gotten largely the same player that they saw on film and even in person last season, when Adams logged a 7-68-1 line against the Rams in Week 16 as a member of the New York Jets.
Adams said postgame that it was only a “good start,” and that they left plays on the field.
Davante Adams, Matthew Stafford Building Strong Rapport

Adams and Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford developed chemistry quickly this offseason, but their on-field debut was delayed by the latter’s back injury during the preseason. Stafford said after the season-opener that he told Adams they were just getting started.
Adams said on Sunday that his feat was better with a win to show for it, that he enjoyed getting into the end zone for the first time with the Rams, and Stafford’s desire to make it happen.
Stafford said during his walk-off interview that Sunday was Adams’ “turn” to have a big day.
Adams has helped Stafford and the Rams get out to their first 2-0 start since 2021, when they went on to win the Super Bowl. A six-time Pro Bowler and three-time First Team All-Pro, a Super Bowl is one of the few accomplishments Adams has yet to check off the list.
Rams Have New Dynamic Duo

Adams’ day had historic implications, but it was hardly the only noteworthy wide receiver performance on the day. Puka Nacua tallied 91 yards on eight receptions. He also ripped off a 45-yard rushing touchdown.
Moreover, the big play came on a fourth-and-1 situation and was good for the first score of Sunday’s contest.
The Athletic’s Nate Atkins posted on X that Adams and Nacua give Stafford “something he’s never really had to this level yet in his career.
“A lot to like about the Rams passing attack through two games this season.”
Adams and Nacua both have the capacity to operate as No. 1 options in a high-level passing attack. They are also versatile enough to play complementary roles. That makes it difficult for opposing defenses to choose someone to take away, and is, obviously, good for the Rams.
