Katherine Ryan has blasted Thomas Skinner for claiming his affair has been ‘forgotten’ by him and his wife.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 34, married married Sinéad Chambers in 2022, at which point they already shared a two-year-old son, and he recently revealed he cheated on her in a ‘two-week fling’ shortly after their wedding.
Skinner admitted to being unfaithful to his wife – who he welcomed identical twin girls with in 2023 – and she forgave him.
He told The Sun: ‘The best advice I can give anyone is to be honest and own up. Because we are in an incredible place now. We are strong. It’s forgotten about.’
However, comedian Katherine, 42, has insisted the notion of the affair being forgotten is ‘false’.

‘”It’s forgotten” is such really inflammatory term for me because I think that for him, it seems forgotten, she forgave him and his life carried on as far as he’s concerned,’ she said on her Telling Everybody Everything podcast.

‘I promise you, your wife has not forgotten.’
She shared the clip from her podcast on Instagram, and took to the caption to offer some clarification about the idea of ‘celebrity infidelity’.
‘I think it happens in many “regular” families,’ she pointed out, arguing that the public response can be disproportionate.
Katherine continued: ‘I DONT believe people should be professionally ‘canceled’ for cheating but there is extra intrigue when someone cheats when associated with a mainstream “family” show.’
She added: ‘I said men cheat for no reason and I stand by that. Forgotten? WOMEN NEVER FORGET. ❤️ I do wish healing to both women in this story and nobody’s perfect, Tom. You’ll be fine too.’

Amy-Lucy O’Rourke, a 35-year-old aesthetician and mother of one, has now come out and accused Skinner of lying about their fling, claiming it was a full-blown affair.
She told the Daily Mail: ‘It makes me really angry that his narrative is that he told her.
‘He did not tell her. I can’t believe he’s trying to make out that he did the honest thing. He did not, he tried to keep the lie up for weeks and was torturing me emotionally.’

O’Rourke also provided the publication with Ring doorbell footage from the time, in which Skinner can be seen shouting outside her house and banging on the door.
In the footage, O’Rourke tells him to go away and answers the door to tell him her son is asleep.
The aesthetician has provided photos and videos of the pair, claiming their affair was conducted over months and they went out together as a couple.

‘Thomas told me I was the love of his life and sold me an absolute dream,’ she told the Mail. ‘He told me that he was in a loveless relationship of convenience.’
However, Skinner told The Sun of the aftermath: ‘I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had.
‘My wife is the best thing that’s ever happened. I’m so lucky she forgave me.’
