Antonio Banderas, 65, who shared a tribute to the late Robert Redford shortly after his passing, turned to Instagram again to offer a tribute to the late actress.

Banderas shared a tribute to his four million Instagram followers in the early hours of September 24. The tribute featured a photo of him with Cardinale.
“A final farewell to Claudia Cardinale,” Banderas wrote in the caption. “We say goodbye to a great muse of Italian cinema and one of Europe’s greatest actresses. RIP.”
Fans of Banderas, with a shared appreciation for the late actress, took to the comment section to share their tributes.

Cardinale is survived by her two children, Patrick Cristaldi, 66, and Claudia Squitieri, 46. Her daughter, Claudia, wrote about her mother for Elle a couple of years ago.
