
A man riding a motorized scooter was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Panorama City Sunday night, Sept. 28, authorities said.
The man was heading north on Woodman Avenue and hit at Strathern Street about 9:35 p.m. by a gray Honda sedan, according to Los Angeles police.
The rider, in his early 30s, was ejected and landed in the roadway.
“Following the first collision, a second vehicle collided with the motorized scooter,” a police statement said. “The driver in the second collision is cooperating with the investigation.”
Arriving paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
