Rams Star Receiver Named Offensive Player Of The Week

The Los Angeles Rams returned to the win column after beating the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4, 27-20. The Rams offense put up 477 total yards against Indy, who were undefeated entering the matchup.

Wide receiver Puka Nacua had the best game of his career against Indianapolis, hauling in 170 receiving yards on 13 catches with a touchdown reception.

Nacua currently leads the league with 503 receiving yards (101 yards more than the next player) and also leads the league with 43 receptions (8 more than the next).

“It feels super fun when you go out there and you’re moving the ball forward and you’re feeling like everything’s on the right page,” Nacua said when asked about having 500 yards in four games. “It feels good to be on the same page as Matthew [Stafford]. The understanding that he has of where he needs me to be and then just the ability for everybody on our offense to go out there and execute our plays.”

“The opportunity to get better is still there, but it’s super fun to be on the same page.”

The former BYU Cougar product’s 170 receiving yards currently lead the most in Week 4 and the most in the NFL in the 2025-26 season.

The third-year wide receiver’s performance landed him as the offensive player of the week by Pro Football Focus.

“Puka Nacua is off to a flier: Nacua was outstanding for the Rams in Sunday’s win over the previously unbeaten Indianapolis Colts. He was on the field for 42 passing plays… Nacua averaged an impressive 4.36 yards per route run on the day,” Gordon McGuiness wrote for PFF.

Nacua received a 92.6 grade in the victory against the Colts. The Ram is currently the highest graded wide receiver in the league with an overall grade of 92.7.

“He’s consistent. We obviously know he can get open. He’s got a lot more tools than what people realize,” Davante Adams said of his teammate. “Great hands, strong at the catch point and he’s obviously really tough to bring down once he’s running with the ball… [He’s] going to make it hard on defense.”

This is the third time this season that Puka has been named to Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week.

The Los Angeles Rams will face their first divisional opponent of the season on Thursday night.

The San Francisco 49ers will head down to LA for the first meeting of the season between the teams.

Los Angeles can get some ground in the division despite being tied for the best record in the NFC West if they were to pull the win against San Fran.

With only a few days to go, Puka Nacua could have his fourth 100-yard game this season.
