A man was shot to death Monday morning in South Chicago on the South Side.
The man, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was in the 8300 block of South Baker Avenue around 8:45 a.m. when two armed individuals opened fire at him, Chicago police said.
He was struck in the body and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody.
Area 2 detectives are investigating.
