“American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe gave a brief update on his girlfriend Leticia Cline after the two were in a serious car wreck earlier in September.
In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, October 1, Wolfe began by wishing Cline a happy birthday.
“Please join me in Wishing @leticiacline a happy birthday,” he began. “As you know things have been pretty tough lately. Tish has had to dig deep and find the light thru so much pain.”
He added that the two would be spending her birthday attending follow-up appointments with doctors. He shared a carousel of images alongside the message.
“The reality is things could have been worse and weâre still here,” Wolfe continued. “I feel blessed to share my life with this creative smart beautiful person. Look out world you ainât seen the last of this wild child yet!”
Cline Gives A Brief UpdateÂ
Cline took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, September 30, and gave a brief update on how she was doing prior to her birthday.
She shared an image of her hand with her cat and wrote the following over the image.
âHad another check up today,â she began. âTrauma team today and Plastics Team tomorrow, my birthday.â
âIâve been trying to write an update but my mind goes in and out with the brief numbness the pills offer and my eye sight isnât great right now since my nerves are trying to heal.â
She also later shared Wolfeâs post and wrote, âMy favorite picture of us.â She added a red heart emoji. The image was of the two in bed with their dog, as the adorable pooch licked his own nose.
Wolfe Reflects On the Accident
Before giving an update on Cline, Wolfe reflected on the accident the two of them were in. He shared an image of the two that was taken mere hours before wreck happened.
âThis photo was taken a few hours before the accident,â he began. âEverything that day was perfect we had no idea what was to come.â
He discussed how when tragedy happens, it makes one realize how precious life is.
âWhen your life is so close to being cut short. You find yourself recalibrating all thatâs important,â he added. âGod has a plan and Iâve asked him to shine his light and guide us. This photograph will forever remind me of the day we got a second chance.”
