There’s surely no doubt that Cavill is putting a fair share of work into his role in the new “Highlander” reboot. That includes being incredibly physical when using a sword.

While appearing at CinemaCon in April 2024, The Hollywood Reported noted that he said, “If you think you’ve seen me do sword work before, you haven’t seen anything yet.”

He also talked about the films that his new flick is based on, saying, “I am a lover of the original movies, for better or worse. It’s one of those things where reading the script, I wasn’t quite sure where they were going to go.”

Well, he knows now. Apparently, those behind the film are intent on “going deep into the meaning of these characters, their trials and tribulations.”
