Two motorists were involved in a serious crash near Jewell Avenue and Federal Boulevard.
The Denver Police Department are investigating the incident and first shared news of the incident on social media at about 11:19 p.m. Thursday.
The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
“Not all traffic crashes meet the Department’s criteria for posting. We will only issue a Crash Alert if at least one involved person sustains serious injuries or the crash results in road closures,” the post said.
The department advised commuters passing through the area to take alternate routes.
