They analyze and debate over lyrics to find associations with the pop star’s real life. That’s why they think “Opalite” is a song about her fiancé. They also think Swift references Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend and the reason for their split. The song’s name is literally connected to Kelce, who is celebrating his birthday on October 5. Opal is his birthstone, and Opalite is a synthetic opalescent glass that mimics an opal.</p>
