Olivia Rodrigo, Raye, Elton John among stars set for 2025 Rock Hall ceremony

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the artists who will present and perform at the 2025 induction ceremony, set for Nov. 8 at the Peacock Theater in Inglewood.

While the class of inductees was previously announced in April, this new lineup gives fans their first look at who will bring the tributes to life on stage.

Among those confirmed to appear are Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Elton John, Beck, Brandi Carlile, Missy Elliott, Twenty One Pilots, Questlove, RAYE, Killer Mike, J.I.D, Flea, Iggy Pop, Maxwell, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims, and David Letterman. Each of these artists will either perform or present awards to this year’s inductees, although the Hall has not yet attached names to all pairings.

This year’s inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes in the performer category. Additional honors go to Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon for Musical Influence, Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye for Musical Excellence, and music executive Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said in a statement via The Hollywood Reporter that the ceremony brings together “the most influential artists in music today to honor their heroes who have inspired their music and careers.”

This year’s event marks the first time since 2022 that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony will return to Los Angeles. The event will also be live-streamed on Disney+ at 5 p.m. Tickets for this year’s induction ceremony are now on sale at axs.com.

To be eligible for induction, artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years before their nomination. Several acts, including Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, and Outkast, are first-time inductees, while Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes have been nominated in past years. The 2025 class reflects a broad range of styles, from classic rock and soul to hip-hop and alternative, highlighting the evolving landscape of what defines rock and roll today.

The ceremony is expected to feature a mix of tribute performances and collaborations between this year’s inductees and the contemporary artists who will join them on stage.

In 2024, the Rock Hall honored Mary J. Blige, Cher, Foreigner, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, the Dave Matthews Band, and singer-guitarist Peter Frampton.
