It takes a brave man to interrupt Donald Trump when he is in full flow but Marco Rubio had an important job to do.

Leaning in to whisper in the President’s ear, he deftly handed him a handwritten note crucial for the future of world peace – a deal between Hamas and Israel was ‘very close’.

Rubio leans in and whispers in Trump’s ear, the moment was captured in a photograph reminiscent of George Bush Jr’s iconic photo when he was told that a second plane had hit the World Trade Centre.

The note indicated that Trump would soon be able to announce a ceasefire deal in Gaza.

The note read: ‘Very close. We need you to approve a Truth Social post soon so you can announce the deal first.’

Trump told the room ‘I was just given a note by the secretary of state saying that we’re very close to a deal on the Middle East.

‘They’re gonna need me pretty quickly.’

Despite the rush for Trump to be the person to announce the deal and even claim a Nobel Peace Prize, the president continued his White House roundtable with right-wing influencers about banning Antifa.

With Rubio visibly anxious for ten minutes as discussions continued, Trump stood up to announce: ‘I have to go now to try and solve some problems in the Middle East – although I’m very well represented by our secretary of state.

‘He could probably do an even better job than me, but who knows?

‘We don’t want to take any chances. So we’re going to go and do that… We’re gonna get peace in the Middle East,’ Trump proclaimed.

He handed over to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to continue the roundtable in his absence.

Almost two hours after the note was revealed, Trump posted on Truth social.

‘I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan,’ Trump wrote on his social media.

‘This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line.’

He called this ‘the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.’

He continued: ‘This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.

‘We thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen.’

He signed off the post by saying ‘BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!’

Trump was discussing the future of Antifa, a leaderless movement of far-left activists opposing what they see to be the fascist US government.

He recently signed an executive order declaring them a ‘domestic terrorist organisation’, and the meeting was part of the government’s ongoing attempts to shut the group down.

The note was prompted by the third day of peace talks between Israel and Hamas at an Egyptian resort.

It was attended by Trump’s top Middle East advisor Steve Witkoff, Qatari Prime Minister Sheik Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and other senior officials.

The US president has made no secret of the fact that he is itching to be handed the world’s most prestigious award.

He claimed to have ‘ended seven un-endable wars’ since his second term during his speech at the UN in September
