Millie Bobby Brown has shared a first look at her baby daughter a few months after she announced her surprise arrival.
The actress, 21, rose to fame starring in the smash-hit Netflix series Stranger Things, as well as the Enola Holmes film franchise.
In May last year she married Jake Bongiovi, an American model and actor who is the son of rock musician Jon Bon Jovi.
Just over a year after their first wedding anniversary the couple – who began dating in 2021 – revealed they had welcomed their first child, a baby girl, through adoption.
‘This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,’ she posted in a statement on social media in August.
‘We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’
The pair have now shared a glimpse at their daughter – whose name they have not revealed publicly – in a sweet snap.
This week Millie dropped a series of photos on Instagram, captioning the post: ‘my t swift october 🍁.’
One of them showed the actress and her husband with their baby girl, with the family appearing to be on the It’s a Small World ride at a Disneyland park.
The couple had their heads leaning on each other staring at their daughter, whose face they’d blurred.
In September Millie also shared a wrap up of her month, which included a photo of Jake walking on a tarmac holding a baby carrier.
Although their daughter’s face couldn’t be seen, there was a white blanket poking out, indicating she was snug in there.
Millie and Jake first revealed their romance in June 2021 when he shared a selfie with her online.
After first connecting on Instagram, they were ‘friends for a bit’, before they started dating.
They now live on a huge farm in rural Georgia surrounded by sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, horses, and 10 dogs.
In an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year, Millie spoke about making the decision to get married at a young age and how she and Jake prepared to take the next step in their relationship.
‘We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,’ she explained.
‘It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.’
In March Millie also spoke about her desire to start a family soon even though she was ‘really young’.
‘My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,’ she said on the Smartless podcast.
‘Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.’
‘Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me, personally.’
