Moore expressed her deep admiration and love for Keaton. “What an incandescent human Di is and was,” she continued. “I am so sad she’s gone for all the reasons but also because it felt like she’d be here forever, dazzling us with her talent and charm (and her style, c’mon)!!! One of the very best to ever do it. All my love to her children and loved ones.”

Her post captured the affection so many in Hollywood felt for Keaton, a star known for her humor, warmth, and timeless authenticity.

Costars Celebrate Her Spirit

Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who also played Keaton’s daughter in “Father of the Bride,” shared her own tribute. “Diane, working with you will always be one of the highlights of my life,” she wrote. “You are one of a kind, and it was thrilling to be in your orbit for a time. Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, your talent, and above all, your laughter.”

Like Moore, Williams-Paisley remembered Keaton as joyful, kind, and full of life.

Keaton’s “First Wives Club” costar Bette Midler also honored the Oscar winner’s legacy.

“I cannot tell you how unbearably sad this makes me,” Midler shared on Instagram. “She was hilarious, a complete original, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was… oh, la, lala!”

Midler described Keaton as “brilliant, beautiful, and extraordinary,” reflecting how deeply her charm and sincerity touched those around her.

From “Annie Hall” to “Because I Said So,” Diane Keaton’s career embodied courage, humor, and authenticity. As Mandy Moore lovingly wrote, she was both a “screen mom and real-life hero” and “one of the very best to ever do it.”
