Thomas Skinner has said he wishes he had never competed on Strictly Come Dancing, since it has led to him receiving ‘constant abuse’.
The 34-year-old became the first contestant to be axed from this series of the BBC One show, following what was a highly contentious casting in the first place.
The former Apprentice star, who had been partnered with Amy Dowden on the show, has now taken to his social media account to call out those who have criticised him, particularly those who have approached him in public.
In a lengthy and rambling post to X, Skinner wrote: ‘I’ve had enough of all this b*******.
‘I can’t do anything right now without someone criticising me. Or making me do something against my will. It’s bulls***.’

He then continued: ‘I wish I never done Strictly, I never fitted (sic) the bill for that show let’s be honest. And it’s caused me nothing but agg. Constant abuse.’
Skinner went on to say that all he tries to do is ‘spread positivity online’ but now can’t go anywhere in public without being recognised.
He continued: ‘I’ve had a narrative spun against me so people always have an opinion on me now that they didn’t three months ago.
‘I’ve heard so many lies said and told about me. It’s driving me mad. I’ve had a constant pile-on of abuse over the last month like I’m a mass murderer.’

The married father-of-three then recounted his morning, in which he said he went to work in his van and was being beeped at by fellow drivers.
‘Now people I’ve supported my whole life are starting to turn on me because they see what’s going on online,’ he said. ‘It ain’t real life. I think I need to take a break and concentrate on me and my family.’
Rounding off the post to his official X account, Skinner wrote: ‘I ain’t one to admit I’m struggling. But I am. I’m honestly tired of all this nonsense. Can no one see what’s happening to me, I don’t know why I’ve become this target.
‘I’ve always been the one that’s been solid. But I’ve really really had enough now,’ he said before finishing with his signature ‘bosh’.
