TikTok comedian Steve Bridges has tragically passed away at the age of 41, his wife, Chelsey Bridges, announced in a video posted on Friday, Oct. 17.
She revealed that her husband passed away “peacefully in his sleep” on Oct. 15.
Bridges is survived by his wife, along with the couple’s three children. He and Chelsey have been together for 16 years.
He had over two million followers on TikTok.
Chelsey Bridges Announces The News In A Video On Steve Bridges’ Instagram
Chelsey posted an emotional video on her husband’s Instagram page to share the horrible news.
“I’m really sorry to get on and tell you this, this way,” Chelsey said in the video, with tears in her eyes as she spoke. “I think if I wait any longer, I’m not going to be able to do it, but Steve Bridges passed away peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 15, 2025.
“Who you saw online was just the characters that he created,” she continued. “He was so talented because he was the opposite of all of them.”
“He was the most attentive father and the best, the best husband, and the greatest, sweetest man,” Chelsey added. “And thanks to you, internet, he’s been able to live his dream of making people laugh. And I’m so thankful that he got to do that.
“I have so much more I want to say about him, so many stories. We had so many plans,” she concluded, asking everyone to be kind because her children are on social media. “This is life now. Please never take it for granted and try to live your dreams every day. And love your family and take care of yourself.”

Under Chelsey’s video, which she captioned, “A light gone too soon. I love you Steve,” many fans left comments.
