<p id=”par-2_28″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/90-day-fiance-alum-nikki-exotika-weighs-in-faith-boyfriend-loren.html/”>The TLC star</a>, whose real name is Nicole Sanders, was hospitalized due to “excessive bleeding” after “very complicated” surgery, a friend shared on her Instagram Story (via <a href=”https://people.com/90-day-fiance-star-nikki-exotika-hospitalized-after-surgery-11830288″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>). </p>
<p id=”par-3_49″>“She’s in recovery now but very weak, she refused a blood transfusion prior to surgery,” a man who identified himself as Mike wrote. “They are monitoring her overnight at the hospital. I will be taking care of her, I’ll be giving more updates on her progress as time passes.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_38″>“Nicole is not doing well,” Mike added in an update a few hours later. He also shared that Nikki had gone in for an outpatient procedure but that things took a turn when her blood pressure started dropping. </p>
<p id=”par-5_40″>By Friday, Nikki had recovered enough to share a video on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/nikkiexotika/?hl=en”>Instagram</a>. In the clip, which appeared to be filmed in her home, she said she was “still draining a lot of blood” and “can barely get out of bed.” </p>
<p id=”par-6_44″>“I’m just so tired,” she added in another video. “I’ve just been sleeping a lot. … There’s a lot I have to say but it’s going to take too much energy to say it,” adding that she’d share more details when she was “better.” </p>

<p id=”par-7_79″>Neither Nikki nor her friend have shared details about the procedure that led to her hospitalization. But in August, she said on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DNTKtOoxIXX/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>social media</a> that she was “prepping for another surgery” related to problems with her breast implants. In 2019, she’d been hospitalized “for a serious breast infection” that was “eating through my breast tissue/and skin.” She had to undergo more surgeries after the implant was removed, adding that she was “lucky to be alive” given what she’d endured. </p>
<p id=”par-8_48″>Nikki appeared on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/90-day-fiance-cast-meet-season-10-couples.html/”><em>90 Day Fiancé </em>Season 10</a> with her then-boyfriend Justin, who was from Moldova. The couple – who had a significant age gap – faced a number of issues, including Justin’s lack of trust because Nikki had concealed her transgender identity when they first started dating. </p>
<p id=”par-9_40″>Prior to appearing on <em>90 Day, </em>Nikki filmed segments for E!’s plastic-surgery-gone-wrong series <em>Botched. </em>The episode would have highlighted Dr. Terry Dubrow’s efforts to fix her breast augmentation, but the show never aired her story, according to <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2707972/Transgender-woman-thrown-new-reality-TV-botched-boob-job.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Daily Mail</a>. </p>
