<p id=”par-1_49″>It’s being reported that King Charles’ <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/king-charles-banned-prince-andrew-christmas-gatherings-still-allowing-brother-host-certain-parties.html/”>brother, Prince Andrew</a>, has decided to give up his Duke of York title. The news comes after pressure from the monarch and others as more allegations and claims have been about the disgraced prince’s association with the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. </p>
<p id=”par-2_42″>In a statement, Andrew said the decision to do so was made “in discussion with the king and my immediate and wider family.” This also means that Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, will no longer be allowed to use <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-is-sarah-ferguson-still-a-duchess-after-her-divorce-from-prince-andrew.html/”>the Duchess of York title</a>.</p>

Banishing or humiliating Andrew and Fergie [completely] would cause the sisters further hurt. And that’s a tough nut for William to crack.”</p>
