The New York Giants announced a number of players have been downgraded due to injury and did not travel with the team to Denver.
But the Giants also announced that offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo also won’t travel for personal reasons.
The Athletic’s Charlotte Carroll reported on X that Bricillo didn’t make the trip because his family is expecting their third child.
Bricillo will be replaced on the sidelines by assistant offensive line coach James Ferentz for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos from Mile High.

Giants Announce That Several Players Didn’t Make Trip
The Giants will again be without wide receiver Darius Slayton on Sunday, marking his second consecutive missed game, along with four other players.
Linebackers Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring) and Swayze Bozeman (ankle), defensive lineman Chauncey Golston (neck), and center John Michael Schmitz (concussion) also did not travel with the team.
ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported that wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey is expected to be elevated from the practice squad. Humphrey hauled in four receptions for 55 yards during Big Blue’s Week 6 upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Raanan added that recently signed wide receiver Juice Wells, Dart’s former college teammate at Ole Miss, is unlikely to be elevated from the practice squad.
With Slayton and fellow receiver Malik Nabers sidelined by injuries, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and the Giants will continue to lean on Wan’Dale Robinson — who leads the team with 29 receptions for 351 yards and two touchdowns — along with rookie running back Cam Skattebo out of the backfield. Tight end Theo Johnson has also emerged as one of Dart’s go-to targets, recording three touchdown catches in the quarterback’s first three starts.
Trash Talk Really Heated Up in Recent Days
The trash talk headed into this game has been elevated after two Broncos linebackers spoke out in recent days.
Earlier this week, Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper commented on Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart’s celebrations and the “chain” he wears — a clear sign that the rookie is getting under his opponents’ skin.
The jabs continued Thursday when fellow Broncos linebacker Nik Bonitto appeared to take a shot at Giants fans in a since-deleted post on X.
“I’ve never seen such a delusional fan base,” he wrote.
It didn’t take long for Bonitto’s remarks to circulate on social media, eventually finding their way to Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux.
“Hold on,” Thibodeaux wrote, “what I miss?”
Giants fans quickly brought him up to speed, and Thibodeaux took note of Bonitto’s comment — and his apparent confidence.
Thibodeaux then posted a GIF of Denzel Washington in his award-winning role as detective Alonzo Harris during the climatic scene of the iconic film “Training Day.”
Giants fans may be a little jacked going into this game because they are coming off a surprising victory over the Super Bowl champion Eagles on “Thursday Night Football” last week.
Rookie sensations Dart and Skattebo have brought excitement to New York again, and with a 2-4 record (they also have a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers), the Giants were looking for bulletin board material and the Broncos delivered.
