
Legendary actor Björn Andrésen, best known for 1971’s “Death in Venice,” passed away on October 25. He was 70 years old. Some of his most recent film and television appearances include 2019’s “Midsommar” and 2021’s “Agatha Christie’s Hjerson.” Now, his fans and colleagues are taking to social media to pay tribute to his legacy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristian Petri, who co-directed “The Most Beautiful Boy in the World,” the documentary about Andrésen, confirmed the news. The confirmation of his passing didn’t include the cause.

Andrésen began his career in the early 1970s and appeared in several films over the following decades. As a result, many are taking to social media to pay tribute to his legacy.

He Leaves Behind a Vast Legacy
In Addition to his breakout role in “Death in Venice,” Andrésen appeared in several roles. According to IMDb, his most notable works include “A Love Story,” which was released before “Death in Venice,” multiple episodes of “Gentlemen & Gangsters,” and 2019’s “Midsommar.”
Of course, Andrésen also made music after his breakout movie role. Some of his songs include “Love Is Here,” “Forest of Sorrow,” “To Love,” and “You and I, Forever.” Andrésen will be missed, but his legacy will live on forever.
