One Oscar-winning actress opened up about her plans to go under the knife months after welcoming her second child, admitting that her body didn’t “bounce back.”
That actress is Jennifer Lawrence.
Jennifer Lawrence’s Plastic Surgery Plans
Lawrence, 35, revealed during an interview published Monday, October 27, in The New Yorker that she has an appointment scheduled next month for a breast augmentation.
When asked why she wanted a boob job, Lawrence admitted, “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back,” referring to the birth of her two sons. (Lawrence shares 3-year-old son Cy with husband Cooke Maroney. The couple welcomed their second son, whose name has not been revealed, in April.)
The “Hunger Games” star explained that she is set to be nude on camera in the spring, exactly one year postpartum.
“Maybe I wouldnât be hustling to the appointment in the same way [if I weren’t an actress],â she continued. “But I think yes.”
Apart from the boob job, Lawrence admitted to having had Botox but explained she tries to keep it subtle in order to be able to show emotion while playing expressive characters on film. She has also avoided fillers and other more permanent procedures but claimed that down the line, she would not be opposed to a facelift.
“But, believe me, Iâm gonna!” she said of going under the knife to appear more “refreshed.”

The “No Hard Feelings” star previously pointed to her makeup artist to deny plastic surgery rumors.
“Itâs incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung [Vanngo], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon because everybody in the last few months since Iâve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery,” she laughed during a 2023 interview for Interview Magazine with Kylie Jenner.
She continued, “I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when Iâm 19 to 30 and Iâm like, ‘I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because Iâm aging.’”
The “Kardashians” star, 28, agreed, having been hit with plastic surgery rumors herself.
“Everybody thought I had a nose job, and Iâm like, ‘Iâve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up,’” Lawrence added.
