PHOTOS: ‘Love is Blind’ Denver cast reunites at Empower Field
The Denver-based season of dating show “Love is Blind” officially came to a close on Wednesday when Netflix aired the Season 9 reunion episode.
The episode, which was filmed several weeks ago, brought the cast back together for an evening of gossip about what happened in the pods and during the last 18 months since filming wrapped. The locals who attended the reunion also gathered for a watch party Wednesday night at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium where they could relive the drama alongside fans.
As for the reunion, perhaps the biggest bombshell that was revealed is that one person is a new mom. Sparkle Megan started dating again after filming wrapped last spring. She and her current partner Paul conceived about three months after they started dating and now have a 2 1/2-month-old son named Brooks. The news surprised Megan’s fellow cast members, and viewers got a first look at the baby pictures.
Other than that, the reunion played out like most “Love is Blind” follow-ups. Because filming took place so long ago, much of the drama has since played out on social media. That meant the newly famous reality TV stars spent much of their time playing he-said, she-said to rehash the events and TikTok posts that transpired in the months since filming and while the season aired. It was a snoozer, but worth a watch if you kept up with the entire season.
If you’d rather not and let this historically bad season fade from your Netflix algorithm, swipe through the gallery below to enjoy scenes from Wednesday’s watch party.
