Lindsay Lohan is a busy lady these days. Not only does she have multiple new projects on the horizon, but she’s also a doting wife and mother. Recently, the “Freakier Friday” star took to social media to share an adorable photo featuring her husband, Bader Shammas, and their young son.
Lohan posted the photo on October 31. In it, she can be seen dressed as Batgirl while her husband and son, Luai, are both different versions of Batman. She posted the photo to her Instagram Stories. Lohan captioned the picture, “Happy Halloween.”
Lindsay Lohan Has Learned to Separate her Private Life From Her Work
Lohan married Shammas in 2022. The couple then had their son the following July in Dubai. She has been open about feeling that living in a different country allowed for a more private experience. Recently, the beloved actress reflected with The Sunday Times on the importance of valuing her privacy, especially now that she’s a mother.
She said, “I donât ever want my family to experience being chased by the paparazzi the way I was. They were terrifying moments I had in my life â I have PTSD to the extreme from those things. The most invasive situations. Really scary. And I pray stuff like that never comes back. Itâs not safe. Itâs not fair.”
She also discussed how the media has changed since she was growing up in the industry. According to Lohan, “I feel that it [the paparazziâs invasion of personal privacy] doesnât happen as badly now as it did.”
Lohan continued, “It was way worse when I was younger, but now, because of social media, people can tell their own story in the way that you want it to be told. It has reclaimed the ownership of your life.”
She added, “We didnât have that. But what I have learned over time is how to separate my private life and public life, and that was difficult for me because nobody ever teaches you how to do that.”
She’s Working on a New Hulu Series
Lohan has been cast to star in the upcoming Hulu limited series “Count My Lies.” According to Deadline, it comes from former “This Is Us” producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Shailene Woodley will star in the series alongside Lohan.
As mentioned, Lohan most recently starred in Disney’s “Freakier Friday,” which debuted in movie theaters in August. The film is now available to stream on Disney+.
