David Harbour has reportedly faced claims that he ‘bullied and harassed’ his co-star Millie Bobby Brown while on the set of Stranger Things.

The fifth and final season of the Netflix TV series is set to air later this year, with Harbour playing Chief of Police Jim Hopper, and Brown playing his pseudo-daughter, Eleven.

As the season ramps up to a finale, it has been reported that the two have clashed on set.

The Mail on Sunday revealed that Harbour, 50, faced an internal enquiry after Brown, 21, allegedly complained about his behaviour towards her.

A source told the outlet: ‘Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.’

A source has commented that despite the recent news stories surrounding the cast, nothing will dampen the celebration of the final season of the beloved show.

‘It will be a theatrical event,’ a Netflix source said. ‘Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life.’

The source also added: ‘Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes.

‘Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that.’

It was also reported that Harbour was ‘supported throughout it all’ by his partner at the time, Lily Allen, who recently released an album about their failed marriage and his alleged infidelities.

In songs including Madeline and Tennis, Allen accused her ex-husband of cheating, gaslighting, lying, and contemplated whether he was a ‘sex addict’.

She also sings in Pussy Palace that she ‘found a shoebox full of handwritten letters /From brokenhearted women wishing you could have been better’ in an apartment owned by Harbour in New York, which ssings was evidence of a ‘double life’.

Allen also sings about finding a bag full of ’sex toys, butt plugs, and lube inside’.

In the wake of this album, Harbour, who has been stepdad to Lily Allen’s kids, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 12, since 2020, has been snapped spending time with the children.

The singer has also since confirmed that she is now in a different headspace to the one in which she wrote the album, explaining she no longer feels the need for ‘revenge’.

Metro has reached out to representatives of Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, and Netflix for comment.
