Bay Area classic rock fans woke up to great news this morning:
AC/DC, one of the top-selling acts of all time, is set to perform at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Aug. 5.
And, yes, it may well turn out to be the biggest rock show of the year in the Bay Area.
The date at the home of the San Francisco 49ers is part of AC/DC’s ongoing Power Up Tour, which kicked off in 2024 and now includes 21 dates in 2026.
AC/DC tickets for the Santa Clara date go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 7, ticketmaster.com.
The tour supports AC/DC’s latest album, “Power Up.”
The band’s current lineup consists of lead guitarist Angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney.
