The rockers behind Australian band AC/DC will be back in black when they return to the Mile High City next year on tour.
On Monday, the band announced plans to extend its Power Up tour with a U.S. string of dates. AC/DC comes to Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High Stadium on July 28, 2026, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 at ticketmaster.com.
AC/DC is on the road celebrating its fifth decade as rock royalty. The band first took the stage in 1973, according to a statement, and this latest tour is so named for the group’s 2020 album “Power Up.” Rolling Stone magazine reviewers called the record AC/DC’s best in 30 years, and one that channels its signature eardrum-shredding guitar terror and odes to raising hell.
Fans can expect to hear the new tunes alongside classics, like “Highway to Hell,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and others. The live lineup includes Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney.
In addition to Denver, AC/DC will play in St. Louis, San Francisco, Houston and more cities. See the full list of tour dates at acdc.com/tour.
