<p id=”par-1_14″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kim-kardashian-admits-1-kid-really-hates-school-takes-alternative-classes.html/”>Kim Kardashian</a> is remembering her childhood friend Lindsay Palevsky one year after her death.</p>

<p id=”par-2_28″>On Monday, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/is-kim-kardashian-quitting-the-kardashians-kris-jenner-desperate-keep-daughter-show.html/”><em>The Kardashians </em>star</a> shared a touching tribute to Palevsky, who died in November 2024. Palevsky was a core member of Kardashian’s longtime friend group, aka “lifers.” </p>
<p id=”par-3_63″>“A year without you,” Kardashian captioned the <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DQmGnm5EcUn/?img_index=6″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post, which also included photos of the two women together and an image of Palevsky’s grave marker. “The world paused on Nov 2nd and I know a part of the lifers went with you. Time feels strange without you here. We all see you in purple skies and butterflies. I love you forever, my lifer.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_31″>While Kardashian lives her life in the spotlight, Palevsky kept a much lower profile, generally staying off of social media, which her friend acknowledged in another tribute <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DLvuwAqyG7E/?img_index=9″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>post</a> earlier this year.</p>
<p id=”par-5_30″>“It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz,” <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kim-kardashian-just-made-underwear-weird-and-the-internet-cant-decide-if-its-genius-or-gross.html/”>the SKIMS founder</a> wrote back in July. </p>
<p id=”par-6_71″>“I waited months to post this, mostly because I couldn’t find the right words. Nothing really captures how quiet and empty our lifers chat feels without you in it. I know you’d probably roll your eyes at me posting anything — especially since you didn’t really even have social media — but I couldn’t go through this lake trip without feeling you everywhere, and I needed to share it,” she continued.</p>

<p id=”par-7_23″>Kardashian went on to call the lake her friend’s “happy place” and not how much she was missed during this year’s girls’ trip. </p>
<p id=”par-8_82″>“We felt your absence this year in every sunset, every laugh, every quiet moment,” she wrote. “Looking back at these pictures from a year ago, I feel so grateful for all the memories we made since we were kids. We miss you so f*cking much, Lindz. Our world is not the same without you. I guess that’s why I hold onto this lake tradition so tightly. We’ll always have the lake — and in that, we’ll always have a piece of you.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_16″>The reality star has spoken in the past about how her close friends keep her grounded. </p>
<p id=”par-10_57″>“Honestly, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my friends. Like I have the best friends and they’re super supportive,” she said in a 2024 episode of <em>The Kardashians</em>. “I think that’s probably why I’ve never seen a therapist, is because I have the best friends in the entire world, and they mean everything to me.”</p>
