The Gold Helmet Award Corp. will award the Gold Helmet to an extraordinary senior high school football player from Colorado who’s also a star in the classroom and the community.
This year’s award will be given out at the conclusion of the season in a banquet attended by past Gold Helmet Award winners. The winner will also be recognized at a Denver Broncos home game near the end of the season and receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Gold Helmet Award Corp. is a non-profit organization dedicated to annually recognizing the state’s most outstanding football player-scholar-citizen. The corporation’s board is chaired by Denver Post sports reporter Kyle Newman and sports editor Matt Schubert. For more information or to inquire about donating, email goldhelmet2025@gmail.com.
