Welcome to the Bay Area News Group (Mercury News & East Bay Times) girls Athlete of the Week poll.
For the entire academic year, we will provide a list of candidates who stood out over the previous week and allow you, the reader, to vote for the winner.
This week, we consider performances from Nov. 10-15.
Polls close at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Vote as many times as you’d like until then without using bots or any other artificial methods of voting.
Votes by email and after 5 p.m. Wednesday are not counted.

Winners are announced each Friday online and in the print edition of the Mercury News and East Bay Times sports sections.
Candidates for future Athlete of the Week polls can be nominated at highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com.
We accept nominations until 11 a.m. each Monday.
We also review stats submitted to MaxPreps by coaches/team statisticians.

On to the nominees:
Amaya Bharadwaj, Palo Alto cross country: The Paly senior won the CCS Division II championship with a time of 17:01.4, clearing the rest of the field by over 40 seconds.
Sophia Boschken, Los Altos water polo: Boschken scored six goals and added six steals as Los Altos beat Valley Christian 14-7 for the CCS Division I championship.
Chayse Courtney, Archbishop Mitty volleyball: The sophomore outside hitter had 15 digs, 10 kills and a pair of aces as Mitty swept Folsom in the NorCal Division I volleyball semifinals.
Daniela Cuadros, Carlmont cross country: The senior won the Central Coast Section Division I race this weekend at Crystal Springs with a time of 17:49.8.
Kiernan Hogan, Sacred Heart Prep water polo: The junior utility scored five goals, including one in overtime, as SHP beat Soquel 13-10 in the CCS Open Division final.
Leann Jung, James Logan volleyball: The senior captain had a strong week for Logan with 37 assists, nine digs, two kills and an ace in the Colts’ NorCal Division I first-round win over Carondelet. In a quarterfinal win over Del Oro, she had 50 assists, nine digs, six kills and an ace. In a semis win over Buchanan, Jung dished 44 assists and added 11 digs, five kills and one more ace.
Daphne Mundelius, San Ramon Valley water polo: Mundelius scored four goals and had three steals as SRV beat Las Lomas 15-10 in the NCS Division I championship game.
Stella Newman, Burlingame cross country: The senior paced the CCS Division III field with a time of 18:22.9, edging out junior teammate Elizabeth Carroll by 1.6 seconds for the D-III title.
Clara O’Connor, Carondelet water polo: The senior scored four goals, had two field blocks and drew two exclusions as Carondelet beat Acalanes 14-11 in the NCS Open Division championship.
Saimi Pesola, Willow Glen cross country: The sophomore placed fifth at the CCS Division III cross country championships at the Crystal Springs Course in Belmont, running a personal-best 19:19.3 at qualifying for the state championships. Pesola has led the Rams to a sixth-place finish at CCS.
Kendall Sutherland, Los Gatos field hockey: The senior captain scored the Wildcats’ first goal, the eventual game-winner, after drawing and converting on a penalty shot as Los Gatos won its third CCS Division I championship in five years with a 3-0 win over St. Francis. The Cats finish the season 22-1.
