A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Friday afternoon inside a Near North Side apartment, police said.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest about 4:30 p.m. in a residence in the 600 block of West Division Street, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.
Area 3 detectives are investigating.
