All's Fair, Kim Kardashian, Ryan Murphy

Countless shows premiere on streaming platforms like Hulu each year. It’s always uncertain whether these series will deliver viewership, but one that has is the Kim Kardashian-led, Ryan Murphy-produced “All’s Fair.” Now, Hulu has renewed it for a second season.

Variety reported the news on November 24 that the streaming giant had ordered a second season of “All’s Fair.” The show premiered on November 4.

In addition to Kardashian, it stars Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor. The show is a collaboration between Ryan Murphy Productions and Kris Jenner Productions. Murphy not only created the series, but he also directed the first episode and served as a writer and executive producer.

‘All’s Fair’ Delivered Monster First Season Ratings

Hulu released the trailer for “All’s Fair” on October 8, 2025, after first announcing the series in December 2023. The show’s teaser drummed up a ton of excitement among fans, with many citing its campy nature.

According to The Wrap, “All’s Fair” became Hulu’s biggest premiere for a scripted series in three years. The show drew in a reported 3.2 million global viewers in its first three days of release. The show held steady at number one on Hulu for quite some time. Currently, it sits at number six in the series rankings and number eight overall on the platform.

It’s also worth noting that, while critics haven’t loved the show, it currently has a 66 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, which isn’t bad for a series with a campier tone.

Murphy Previously Opened Up About How the Show Came to Be

As many fans know, “All’s Fair” isn’t Kardashian’s first time working with Ryan Murphy Productions. She appeared in the 12th season of “American Horror Story,” titled “Delicate.” Recently, he opened up to Deadline about how this new show came to be, saying it started from Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Dana Walden, who introduced him to Kris Jenner.

He said, “This show started with Dana Walden, as everything in my career has for the past 20 years. It started because I said I really wanted to meet Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Dana facilitated a dinner and I did something I’ve never done in my career, which was I brought a reality pitch.”

Notably, Murphy isn’t known for reality television. He said, “It wasn’t good. I started my pitch, and I was kind of excited. For anybody in the future who pitches to Kim, you know you’ve lost Kim when she takes to the phone. I finished my pitch, and I was sort of nervous. Kris said, ‘That was really good, sweetie, but you should write a role for Kim.’ A scripted role.’”

He then said, “Kim did fantastic. I was so curious about her, because she has a huge life. She has a huge, wonderful family. I was so startled that she would agree to do this. When asked why, she said, ‘Because it’s iconic and I like iconic sh**,’ which is very Kim.”
