Both Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have remained largely quiet since news of their divorce was first announced. However, now the âMoulin Rouge!â and âRabbit Holeâ star has provided an update about her current situation, reassuring fans that she is doing okay while discussing her relationship during an interview.
Nicole Kidman âHanging In Thereâ After Divorce
While discussing her divorce from the country music star in an interview with Ariana Grande for Interview Magazine, Kidman revealed that she is holding up pretty well following the separation. She also doesnât seem to be holding too many ill feelings towards Urban.
âIâm hanging in there,â Kidman told the âWickedâ star during the interview. âThe last time we saw each other was, I think, at the National Board of Review? It was on one of those red carpets. One day we have to have dinner.â
This is the first public comment that Kidman has made about the divorce since she filed legal documents to confirm the end of the relationship at the end of September. The pair had previously been married since 2006 after first meeting at a gala in 2005.
Court documents also revealed that the two stars have developed a thoughtful parenting plan to put their children first.
Keith Urban Breaks Silence
Although both parties have remained tight-lipped about the cause of the breakdown in their relationship, Urban did publicly break the silence that had built up since the news first arose. Last week, the singer returned to social media to share a new teaser for his upcoming reality show âThe Road.â
In the Instagram video, Urban and Blake Shelton discuss the musicianâs hairstyle choices over the years.
Shelton wrote in the caption, âYou know you learn a lot when youâve been on the road for more than a few yearsâ¦. especially when it comes to your hair.. right @keithurban???â
Kidman Reveals âPractical Magic 2â Filming Details
In the same interview, Kidman also spoke about filming for âPractical Magic 2â and the fun she had while on set with her castmates.
âSandy Bullock and I, and then Joey King and Maisie [Williams]âwe had an incredible cast. A lot of times I donât have fun when Iâm filming,â she revealed. âBut I have such a strong relationship with all those women, so I felt protected and loved. It was just very, very safe.â
Kidman had previously shared an Instagram post showing a video of her and Bullock hugging. Accompanying the video, she wrote, âThe Witches are back. Owens sistersâ first day on set!â
