The Sun-Times’ Bears experts make their pick for their “Black Friday” game against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field (2 p.m., Fox 32 and Amazon Prime):
Patrick Finley
Eagles, 30-21: The Bears have played on a Friday three other times in their history, and not since 1966, when they lost to the Rams. Gale Sayers ran 18 times for 97 yards and two touchdowns — something Saquon Barkley will surpass on Friday. Season: 7-4.
Jason Lieser
Eagles, 27-22: The Eagles have struggled to get back to where they were last season, but still have arguably the most talented roster in the NFL. It’s a steep step up from who the Bears have played lately. Season: 6-5
Scoop Jackson
Bears, 28-24: Are the Bears the Patriots of the NFC? We’re about to find out. No “luck” this game. No “stranger things” happening that lead to victory. The Bears legitimacy is all tied to this one game. Season: 4-7.
Steve Greenberg
Eagles, 27-16: Anyone who watched the Eagles torment Lions QB Jared Goff into a 13-for-37 passing disaster in Week 11 knows how dangerous this one could be for Caleb Williams and company, and that’s just on offense. Can an endlessly banged-up “D” hang in there against the champs? Tough one — likely too tough — for the Bears. Season: 8-3.
Mark Potash
Eagles, 23-20: The Bears are playing with confidence and will give the defending Super Bowl champs all they can handle. But the Eagles, coming off a loss to the rival Cowboys, get the edge at home on a short week. Season: 8-3.
