Directioners, prepare to have your heart broken as Louis Tomlinson has confirmed the one song he ‘always hated’ singing.
No, it’s not the now emotionally devastating Night Changes or an underrated tune like I Wish.
Louis didn’t enjoy performing the band’s biggest hit and lead single, which marked their 2011 debut, What Makes You Beautiful.
Maybe he was insecure (don’t know what for) but he admitted while speaking to Capital, he’s not a fan of performing the iconic track.
‘I’m not sure there’s a single time I performed One Direction’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and enjoyed it,’ Louis confessed.
‘That was felt like a bit of a challenge. So, yeah.’
The Lemonade singer was answering questions from fans while speaking to the radio station ahead of the Jingle Bell Ball.
‘The thing is with the irony of this game, like, shredding it, is like I am an open book. I will just give you every answer!,’ Louis joked.
He’s set to perform his biggest tracks — maybe including WMYB — on Sunday, December 7 at the O2 for the festive event.
Other artists on the line up include Raye, Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, and former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne on Saturday, December 6.
Meanwhile, on Louis’ day, the headliner will be the one and only Kylie Minogue with performances from Alex Warren, Tinie Tempah, and Jessie J.

Louis has been an open book when it comes to discussing his One Direction life recently, after revealing he had new solo music on the way.
He previously shared that he will ‘forever despise’ internet personality Logan Paul after a controversial chat with Liam Payne.
‘I think that’s also the problem with some of this new “media”,’ he told The Independent. ‘I would like to think most journalists… some journalists have a duty of care.’
In 2022, Payne appeared on Logan’s podcast, drink in hand, and blasted Zayn Malik while admitting he had thrown his former One Direction bandmate ‘up a wall’.
The star, who died at the age of 31 on October 16, 2024, was called ‘arrogant’ by fans as he claimed he was ‘de facto leader’ of the band.
‘It was, definitely,’ he said. ‘It was definitely a role that was assigned to him. That is the truth.’
