‘The Bachelor’ Contestant Gets Engaged in Greece

Former “The Bachelor” contestant Starr Skyler and her boyfriend Keaton Aspuru are now engaged. The reality show star and Aspuru announced their engagement on November 24 through a sweet video on Instagram. Aspuru proposed while the two were on a vacation in Crete, Greece.

Skyler and Aspuru have been dating since 2024–after she was eliminated from “The Bachelor.” The mental health counselor finished her time on the program in the third week of the show’s 28th season, which featured Joey Graziadei as the titular bachelor. Since then, Skyler and Aspuru have posted an array of romantic content to their social media pages. 

The Couple Announced the Engagement Online

Skyler’s announcements appeared on social media on November 27. She captured one heartwarming photo, now pinned to the top of her Instagram account, with the caption, “forever has a nice ring to it.” Skyler coupled the post with an infinity sign emoji. 

The first picture in the set shows Aspuru on one knee as Skyler sports a beautiful dress. The sun set during the tender moment, which took place in front of the stunning sea. Other photos show close ups of Skyler’s ring along with shots of the couple kissing and embracing.

“The best night of my life” reads the caption on another Instagram post by Skyler. The video shows the full story of the engagement, starting with Skyler and Aspuru walking towards the beautiful set up. Stunning white flowers and scattered petals are seen strewn around a small wooden table. The ocean and sunset serve as a gorgeous backdrop for the scene.

From the beginning of the proposal to the end, Skyler and Aspuru display tangible affection towards each other. Mere seconds after saying “Yes” to the big question, Skyler pulled Aspuru into a loving kiss and hug. The two stayed to enjoy a post-sunset evening, including footage of the cliff they were perched upon as well as the vast sea behind them.

Skyler also took to another social media platform to share her excitement about the engagement. In a post on TikTok, she wrote about her dinner with Aspuru in the aftermath of the proposal: 

“The dinner debrief afterwards when he tells you all the behind the scenes details of when he started planning, how he told your family, choosing the ring and all of the details that went into it.”

Another TikTok featured the couple lip synching and swaying to “Jungle” by A Boogie Wit da Hoodie. Skyler captioned the post with excitement, writing “Mind you this was an hour before we got engaged!! #engagement.” 

The Two Got Engaged in Greece

Skyler and Aspuru were on vacation in Greece when he asked her to marry him. In her aforementioned Instagram post, Skyler thanked the Greek planning company Proposal in Crete for “capturing our beautiful moment.” Throughout her trip to the Mediterranean country, she posted several carousels of content. 

Skyler shared a video of her and her fiancé exploring, drinking, shopping and eating throughout Greece. She paired the Reel with “You Were Right” by RÜFÜS DU SOL. “Miss you already @greece,” she wrote in her caption.
