Eagles OC Kevin Patullo Sends Clear Message to Fans After House Egged

Things are not going well for the Philadelphia Eagles currently, as they have lost their past two games, opening the door for the Dallas Cowboys to potentially steal the top spot in the NFC East from them. Pretty much everyone on the team is facing their fair share of criticism, but one guy who has taken a bigger beating than most is offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.

In his first year as the team’s OC, Philly’s offense has struggled, as the rushing attack has looked lethargic, and the passing game has been unable to consistently get off the ground. After the team’s Week 13 loss to the Chicago Bears, Patullo’s house got egged, and on Wednesday, he addressed the situation when speaking to reporters.

Kevin Patullo Calls Out Eagles Fans Who Egged His House

After winning Super Bowl LIX, a lot of changes took place in Philadelphia. Several key players on the roster left, but the coaching staff also experienced quite a bit of turnover. Kellen Moore left his post as the team’s offensive coordinator to take the New Orleans Saints‘ head coaching job, which resulted in Patullo getting promoted to fill the position.

Patullo has worked as a coach in football since 2003, and he has been with the Eagles since 2021, working as the team’s pass game coordinator, before adding associate head coach to his title in 2023 and 2024. Given his experience with the offense, he seemed like the perfect guy to replace Moore, but things simply have not clicked in 2025.

After another ugly outing against the Bears, fans egged Patullo’s house, expressing their frustration with the team’s recent woes. Obviously, this is crossing the line, and Patullo was quick to note that when discussing the situation. However, he’s ready to put it in the rearview mirror and turn his attention to the team’s upcoming contest in Week 14.

“Unfortunately, it happened,” Patullo bluntly said on Wednesday. “I’ve been here for five years now, and it’s been awesome … It’s perfectly acceptable to sit up here and talk about what’s going on, how to fix it, what we’re gonna do going forward. But when it involves your family, obviously crosses the line. That happened, and at this point, we’ve just gotta move on.”

It goes without saying that there’s no place in sports for egging a player or coach’s house. The criticism Patullo has faced is valid, but involving his family in the situation is simply wrong. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to have impacted him too much, and he’s simply focused on the task at hand on the field for Philly.

When the Eagles return to action in Week 14, they will draw another tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Considering how things have gone lately for Philadelphia, picking up a win in this game could prove challenging, although it is worth noting that Los Angeles hasn’t exactly been perfect as of late either. With this game scheduled for Monday Night Football, kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET.
