The snow is done in Denver — for now — but icy roads could complicate the morning commute before temperatures heat up Thursday.
Below-freezing temperatures are forecast for Denver until about 11 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. Until then, ice will remain on roads throughout the Denver area.
Morning commuters should expect to encounter icy spots on roadways across the city, Denver police said Thursday morning.
As of 7 a.m. Thursday, multiple Waze users had reported ice and heavy traffic jams on highways in and around the city.
Denver’s next chance for snow will be early Saturday morning, between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., according to the weather service.
