No, Chance the Rapper won’t be reciting “You don’t want no problem, want no problem with me” from his 2016 hit “No Problem” on the CTA. But the Chicago rapper is lending his voice to something new.
He is the voice of the “Enjoy the Ride” campaign, which the rapper launched in partnership with the transit agency on Wednesday. The campaign features two announcements voiced by Chance that will play at train stations across the city for several weeks, according to a CTA news release.
The campaign also showcases Chance’s hit single, “Ride,” from his newest album, “Star Line,” in the rail station announcements, the agency said.
“I think this partnership is so important because I grew up taking the Red Line train from 79th,” Chance said in a statement. “All of the train lines create a pathway to connection and an opportunity for people to build community, and that’s what Star Line is about. It’s about us forming together to fight anything that’s going against us. This is an important time in the city for people to stand up, be brave and protective of each other.”
The CTA and Chance the Rapper collaborated on three posters for fans to download.

In his announcements, Chance reflects on growing up riding the Red Line while encouraging riders to support public transit and its workers. He also tells commuters to enjoy their ride.
The collaboration also includes limited edition posters that fans can download, and the CTA said more collaborations with the rapper are expected in the future.
